In São Paulo, Caixa launched the Conquista+ with credit from R$ 500 to R$ 21 thousand for CadÚnico entrepreneurs, with Selic interest plus up to 2% per year to stimulate small businesses and increase income, causing a direct impact on productive inclusion and drawing attention from informal workers and minorities.
Low-income entrepreneurs registered in the Cadastro Único now have a new financing alternative. The Conquista+ CAIXA was launched this Monday, the 9th, in São Paulo, as part of the Acredita no Primeiro Passo program.
The proposal directly targets those who work independently and face difficulties accessing traditional credit. With amounts ranging from R$ 500 to R$ 21 thousand, the initiative emerges as a concrete opportunity to expand or structure small businesses.
The impact can be immediate for thousands of informal workers who rely on their own efforts to generate income. And the detail that drew the most attention was the differentiated condition offered.

Credit of Up to R$ 21 Thousand with Selic Interest Plus 2% Per Year and Exemption from IOF
Loans range between R$ 500 and R$ 21 thousand. Interest rates follow the Selic plus up to 2% per year, in addition to the exemption from IOF.
The repayment period ranges from 4 to 12 months. This means that the funds are mainly aimed at quick working capital, purchasing supplies, or small structural improvements.
The combination of limited interest and absence of IOF reduces the final cost of the operation. For those at the beginning or trying to expand, this difference can represent real financial relief.
Who Can Apply and Which Workers Will Be Served
The Conquista+ is aimed at individuals registered in the CadÚnico who work formally or informally.
This includes activities such as hairdressers, seamstresses, small merchants, and various types of self-employed work. Caixa itself emphasized that anyone with informal activity can apply, as long as they meet the program’s criteria.
The focus is to reach those who typically face barriers in the traditional banking system. It is precisely this audience that drives the local economy and depends on accessible credit to grow.
Priority for Women, Blacks, Youth, and Historically Affected Groups
One of the central points of the initiative is the priority for groups historically impacted by social inequality.
Women, Black people, youth, people with disabilities, and traditional peoples and communities will have preference in granting credit. The established goal is clear: at least 50% of the operations must be allocated to women.
This focus is not random. It seeks to reduce structural inequalities and increase the presence of these groups in formal and informal entrepreneurship.
Real Stories Show How Money Can Transform Small Businesses
The resident of São Paulo, Patrícia de Almeida, already has a specific destination for the funds. She intends to invest in improving her beauty salon to attract new clients and increase income.
Bolivian immigrant Mery Huallpa plans to invest the funds in her own clothing workshop. For her, credit represents the chance to move beyond small jobs and expand her business to support her family.
These are practical examples of how amounts between R$ 500 and R$ 21 thousand can bring about concrete changes in neighborhood businesses and household economies.
Pilot Project Starts in Three Capitals and Will Last 90 Days
The Conquista+ begins as a pilot project with an initial duration of 90 days.
The first agencies to operate the credit line are located in the capitals São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte. The choice of these cities marks the beginning of the implementation and is intended to serve as a basis for possible future expansion.
According to the government, about 98% of the new formal jobs created since 2023 have been filled by individuals registered in the Cadastro Único. These are families with a monthly income of up to half a minimum wage per person.
This data reinforces the significance of the target audience and highlights why expanding credit can have a direct impact on income generation and formalization.
The initiative stands out for combining accessible credit, a social focus, and a clear goal of productive inclusion, creating a concrete opportunity for thousands of Brazilians to transform small businesses into stable sources of income.
