With the Advancement of Technology, It Has Always Been Common for People to Wonder About the Launch of Flying Cars. Although They Are Not Yet on the Market, Some Models Are Already in Testing Phases, Waiting to Take Off at Any Moment.

However, even though they are still in the preparatory phase, it is possible that they will reach the market by 2023. Therefore, check out some models that may be flying near you at any moment this new year.

Klein Vision AirCar

Developed by AirCar, one of the most promising flying cars has received the “Official Airworthiness Certificate” from the Slovak Transport Authority. This is because it has completed over 70 hours of flight tests, along with 200 take-offs and landings.

Thus, it can be understood that it is one of the biggest promises for this year, but there is still no certainty about its launch.

AeroMobil 4.0

In 2018, a 5.0 version of AeroMobil was revealed to show that flying cars are on the way. However, in 2021, a new announcement indicated that we could pilot the AeroMobil 4.0 as early as 2023. Although nothing else has been said, there is a minimal possibility of it appearing in the air this year.

PAL-V Liberty

Being one of the most promising and awaited flying cars in the automotive market, the PAL-V Liberty could finally take flight in 2023. In 2018, PAL-V announced that the first units of Liberty were in production, and by 2021, the amount was certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.

Now, the company has announced that the first units will be delivered in 2024, so what remains for us is to wait, right?

Joby Aviation x Toyota

Toyota has always been a company focused on the future and, therefore, invested over €300 million in Joby Aviation, a flying taxi company. After the partnership, both companies announced that their air transport would be launched within a few years. Thus, the expectation is that 2023 will bring this great flying promise.

Terrafugia TF-X

Launched in 2006 with an innovative proposal, Terrafugia changed the landscape of Massachusetts with a concept called Transition. In 2017, Geely acquired the company, and since then, there have been no shortage of promises for new flying cars.

During this acquisition, the company showcased the TF-X with an incredible appearance, but will it come to life in 2023? Although things have been very quiet, there is a possibility that the promise will come to fruition and start flying around.

Renault AIR4

Although it is controversial, the Renault AIR4 is one of the best bets for “flying cars.” In fact, even though it has no wheels, it is not considered a flying car – but, the important thing is that it can fly!

The reality is that the AIR 4 is a drone-style car, launched in 2021 to start Renault’s 60th anniversary. Although there are videos of it flying, it is likely that the launch will not happen anytime soon, so don’t expect to see one of these parked around!
