Workers who Worked Between 1971 and 1988 Have an Official Way to Check Possible Values of the Old PIS/Pasep Fund. The REPIS Platform and Caixa Centralize Consultation and Payment, with Authenticated Access via Gov.br and Calendar by Batches.
The Ministry of Finance Launched the REPIS Citizen Platform, which Centralizes Consultation on the Shares of the Old PIS/Pasep Fund and Guides the Path for Withdrawal.

Who is Entitled to the PIS/Pasep Shares
Those who Worked with a Signed Contract in the Private Sector or Served as Public Servants Between 1971 and 1988 and Have Not Withdrawn Previously Are Entitled to the Shares.
The PIS/Pasep Fund was Extinguished by Provisional Measure 946, of April 7, 2020, with transfer of assets and liabilities to FGTS; the extinction occurred on May 31, 2020, without prejudice to the right of redemption of the shares by the holders or their legal beneficiaries.
How to Access and Request via Gov.br and FGTS App
The REPIS Citizen Informs the Existence of Amounts and Guides Citizens to the Next Step of the Request.
Authentication Must Be Done with a Gov.br Silver or Gold Account, a Standard Required for Data Security and Privacy.
The Request for Reimbursement, When Indicated, is Processed by Caixa: the Government Advises that the Request Be Made via the FGTS App, a Channel that Concentrates the Submission of Withdrawal Requests and Sending Documents Digitally.
In Specific Situations, Assistance May Be In-Person at a Caixa Agency, Upon Presentation of Required Documentation.
Payment Schedule by Batches
The Payment Schedule has Been Organized by Monthly Batches, Tied to the Date the Request Was Filed.
Payments Will Be Made on March 28 for Those Who Requested Until February 28, 2025; Those Who Requested Until March 31 Will Receive on April 25; Requests Made Until April 30 Have Payment Scheduled for May 26; Those Completed Until May 31 Will Receive on June 25; Until June 30, Payment on July 25; Until July 31, on August 25; Until August 31, on September 25; Until September 30, on October 27; Until October 31, on November 25; Until November 30, on December 26; and Requests Made Until December 31 Have Payment Scheduled for January 26, 2026.
Forms of Credit and Correction
Payment is Credited Exclusively by Caixa.
When the Holder Has an Account at the Bank, the Credit May Be Made Directly to the Existing Account; in the Absence of an Account, the Institution Automatically Opens a Digital Social Savings Account, Which Can Be Managed via the Caixa Tem App.
According to the Government, the Amounts are Adjusted by IPCA-15.
PIS/Pasep Shares vs. Salary Bonus
The Difference Between Shares of the Old PIS/Pasep Fund and the Current Salary Bonus Needs to Be Noted by the Public.
The Shares Refer to Deposits Made Until October 1988 in Individual Accounts of Workers and Public Servants; the Salary Bonus is an Annual Benefit, with Its Own Rules, That Does Not Conflict with the Reimbursement of Shares.
The REPIS Citizen Was Developed Specifically to Facilitate This Distinction and Guide Citizens to the Correct Procedure.
Heirs: Documents and Procedure
Heirs and Legal Beneficiaries Can Also Withdraw the Amounts of the Deceased Holder.
In These Cases, It is Necessary to Present the Specific Documentation Required, Such as a Certificate Issued by Social Security for Withdrawal of PIS/Pasep/FGTS or Equivalent Document That Proves the Status of Dependent or Successor.
The Request Can Be Initiated via the Digital Channel and, if Necessary, Completed at a Caixa Agency, According to Official Guidelines.
Communications from Caixa and Operationalization
In Addition to the REPIS Citizen, Caixa Maintains Its Guidance Page on Reimbursement of Shares and Publishes Communications with the Dates and Operational Conditions of the Batches.
In a March 2025 Note, the Bank Announced the Start of Payments and Reinforced That Both Holders and Legal Beneficiaries Can Request the Amounts, Observing the Rules from 1971 to 1988.
This Communication Also Recorded the Volume of Requests Already Made with the Bank Since the Transfer of Resources.
Practical Guidance to Start the Consultation
For Those Who Have Doubts About Having Worked Formally During the Period, the Recommendation is to Start by Consulting REPIS Citizen with Gov.br Login, Which Centralizes Information and Avoids Miscommunication Between Channels.
If There is Indication of Balance, the System Itself Directs to the Next Step, Either the Formalization of the Request via the FGTS App or the Presentation of Documents at a Caixa Agency.
The Digital Flow is the Standard Path and is Integrated into the FGTS Environment, Operated by Caixa.
Free Access and Security of the Process
The Government Emphasizes That Access to REPIS Citizen is Free and Authenticated, and That Payments Occur Exclusively Through Caixa, with Dates Linked to the Calendar by Batches.
By Consulting and Following the System’s Instructions, the Worker or Heir Reduces the Chance of Errors in the Request and Accelerates the Credit, Which Will Be Deposited in a Bank Account or in a Digital Social Savings Account.
