The Ministry of Justice has forwarded the requests, and the details of these opportunities are promising, according to qconcursos.

Division Of Positions For The Federal Police

Police Area

The Federal Police requested 2,599 positions, divided among various areas. Here’s how these opportunities are organized:

Agent: 1,115 positions (higher education in any area and a starting salary of R$14,710.10);

Clerk: 364 positions (higher education in any area and a starting salary of R$14,710.10);

Fingerprint Expert: 13 positions (higher education in any area and a starting salary of R$14,710.10);

Expert: 57 positions (higher education in specific areas and a starting salary of R$14,710.10);

Delegate: 261 positions (higher education in Law and a starting salary of R$27,831.70).

To compete for any of these positions, it is necessary to have a completed higher education degree.

Administrative Area

In the administrative area, the PF also presents several positions:

Secondary Level: Administrative Agent (626 positions);

Higher Level: Administrator (26), archivist (9), social worker (13), librarian (1), accountant (9), economist (3), nurse (3), statistician (4), pharmacist (2), doctor (70), nutritionist (1), psychologist (6), education affairs technician (13) and social communication technician (3).

The starting salaries in the administrative area vary: R$6,173.31 for administrative agents and R$7,296.69 for higher-level positions, except for doctors, who receive R$9,547.40. These amounts include a food allowance of R$1,000.

Positions Requested For The Highway Police

Police Area

The Highway Police requested a total of 5,137 positions, divided as follows:

Highway Police: 4,902 positions (complete higher education). The starting salary for this position will be R$12,253.84 starting in 2026.

Administrative Area

Administrative Agent: 235 positions (complete secondary education). The starting salary for this position will be R$6,173.31.

Priorities And Expectations

The Ministry Of Management And Innovation In Public Services (MGI) emphasized that, although the requests include positions for police areas, the main focus is on the administrative areas. Expectations are that the administrative announcements will be authorized later this month, as new federal announcements will be made by the MGI this semester.

New Salaries For Police Careers

The salaries for police careers in the PF and PRF have been adjusted by Law 14,875/2024, and this increase will be applied in three installments, in the years 2024, 2025, and 2026. Starting in 2026, those accepted will join with starting salaries of:

PF: Delegate and Federal Criminal Expert with R$27,831.70; agent, clerk, and fingerprint expert with R$14,710.10. The final amounts may reach R$41,350 for delegates and experts, and R$25,250 for agents, clerks, and fingerprint experts.

PRF: Will join with a starting salary of R$12,253.84, which may reach R$23,000 by the end of their careers.
