Chevrolet has introduced the new S10 WT 2025 to the Brazilian market, labeled as Work Truck (WT), which promises to meet basic transportation and cargo needs with efficiency and reduced cost. The version replaces the old LS and LT and comes in different configurations, including chassis, single and double cab, both in manual and automatic options.

This new entry version is specially designed for work, with the possibility of adding dry cargo bodies or refrigerated boxes, depending on the chosen configuration. The WT chassis is the most affordable, with a starting price of R$ 223,620, followed by the WT single cab at R$ 232,710 and the manual double cab at R$ 237,860. The automatic double cab version, presented at the event, is available for R$ 268,860.

The new Chevrolet S10 WT 2025 is equipped with an improved engine, which now offers 207 horsepower and 52 kgfm of torque. This engine has received nearly 40 modifications, including new pistons and a new electronic control unit (ECU), aiming for better performance and efficiency.

The new Chevrolet S10 WT 2025 offers enhanced performance, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds, which represents a 1-second improvement over the previous model. Fuel consumption has also improved: in the city, the S10 WT now reaches 9.5 km/L, compared to the previous 8.4 km/L; while on the highway, consumption is 11.4 km/L, an increase from 10.4 km/L of the previous model. These improvements in performance and efficiency are significant for users seeking a combination of power and economy in their daily or professional activities.

Prices of the New S10 WT Are Competitive, Especially When Compared to Rivals Like the Ford Ranger XLS

The Chevrolet S10 WT 2025 automatic stands out for being the only version in the WT lineup to come equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels. The other configurations have 16-inch steel wheels. Notably, the showcased automatic WT also featured the optional “Brutal” kit for R$ 11,990, which adds several aesthetic and functional accessories, such as grille trim, scoop-shaped hood, and bumper extensions with LED lighting.

Although it is an entry-level version, the WT retains important features like the digital instrument panel and the new MyLink multimedia center. However, unlike the more expensive versions, it does not have features like leather-wrapped steering wheel or wireless charging.

The prices of the new S10 WT are competitive, especially when compared to rivals like the Ford Ranger XLS. Chevrolet seems to have found a balance between functionality and cost, making the new S10 WT 2025 an attractive option for those looking for a robust and adaptable pickup without spending much.
