GWM Opens Hundreds Of Job Openings For Its Factory In Iracemápolis, In The State Of São Paulo, With Opportunities For Various Positions And Benefits For Hired Employees.
The Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors (GWM) has opened about 700 job openings at its factory in Iracemápolis (SP). Hiring will take place throughout the first half of 2025, coinciding with the start of production at the facility.
The opportunities are aimed at different areas and levels of qualification. Among the available positions are production operator, quality operator, maintenance technician, engineering analyst, and specialized technician in production systems. In addition, there are openings for supervisors and leadership positions in the factory.
Who is GWM Looking For?
The jobs will be with signed contracts and include benefits such as health plan, dental plan, meal vouchers, and food assistance.

The Director of Institutional Affairs at GWM Brazil, Ricardo Bastos, highlighted that the opportunities are not exclusive to those who already have experience in the automotive sector.
According to him, the automaker is looking for professionals from various fields to join its team.

The selection processes will take place over the next few months and will continue until the available positions are filled.
Expansion And Growth Of The Factory In Iracemápolis
This is the second phase of hiring by the automaker in less than a year.
Between October and December 2024, the company had already announced 100 positions for forming the first teams responsible for structuring production processes and training the initial team.
The GWM factory in Iracemápolis was acquired in 2021 and was previously owned by Mercedes-Benz.
The site, covering 1.2 million square meters, has undergone upgrades to accommodate the new operation of the automaker.
The facility has been equipped with digital technologies and an intelligent assembly system to optimize production.
Initially, the GWM factory will have the capacity to produce 25 thousand vehicles per year, with the possibility of expanding to 50 thousand units in the next three years.
The initial focus will be on manufacturing the Haval SUV, one of the automaker’s main models in the global market.
In addition to supplying the domestic market, the automaker intends to turn the factory into an export hub for countries in Latin America.
According to Ricardo Bastos, GWM aims to strengthen its presence in the region and contribute to the growth of the electrified vehicle industry in Brazil.
GWM Investments In Brazil
The Chinese automaker announced a total investment of more than R$ 10 billion in Brazil. Of this amount, R$ 4 billion is allocated to modernization and development of the Iracemápolis factory between 2022 and 2026.
The other R$ 6 billion has already been approved but does not yet have a specific allocation in the company’s strategic plan.
“What will happen, where it will happen is not yet defined, but it is defined that it will be in Brazil,” explained Bastos.
The opening of these job openings reinforces GWM’s growth in the country and the advancement of the factory in Iracemápolis.
The expectation is that the automaker will continue to expand its operations and create new job opportunities over the coming years.
