A cyclist who was hit mobilized rescue teams on the morning of this Sunday (3/8) in Sobradinho DF, a region of the Federal District.
The traffic accident occurred on Quadra 01, in front of a supermarket, when a silver Toyota Etios struck the man who was biking in the area.
The Fire Department received the call at 10:54 AM and sent two vehicles to attend to the incident.

According to the rescuers, the cyclist was conscious and oriented at the time of the rescue, but reported shoulder pain.
After the initial care at the scene, the team took the victim to a reference hospital in the region for a more detailed medical assessment.

Fire Department Performed Quick Assistance On Site
The emergency center of the Fire Department of the Federal District (CBMDF) received the call early in the morning and quickly dispatched two rescue teams to the site of the accident.
When they arrived at the scene, the firefighters found the cyclist on the ground after the impact with the vehicle. Despite the collision, the man remained conscious.
The rescuers immediately began the pre-hospital care procedures and followed the trauma protocol, a method used to assess possible injuries in accident victims.
This protocol includes immobilization, checking vital signs, and analyzing possible fractures or internal injuries.
After this assessment, the team placed the cyclist in the ambulance and transported him to the hospital.
Cyclist Reported Shoulder Pain After The Impact
According to the rescue teams, the cyclist showed signs of clinical stability during the care, but reported shoulder pain.
“He was conscious and oriented, but complained of shoulder pain,” the rescuers reported.
As a precaution, the firefighters took the victim to a hospital unit, where doctors could conduct further tests and identify possible injuries that may not show up in the first assessment.
This type of referral frequently occurs in traffic accidents involving impacts between vehicles and cyclists.
Driver Of Toyota Etios Suffered No Injuries
The rescuers also assessed the driver of the Toyota Etios involved in the accident in Sobradinho DF. However, he showed no injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

Subsequently, military police from the Federal District took control of the site and began recording the incident.
