Imagine returning home after a tiring week of work and, on the trip, receiving a cold Coca-Cola for free. This will be the experience for passengers on a bus line in Sorocaba, the interior of São Paulo.
Free Coca-Cola Every Friday
On Monday (15), Mayor Rodrigo Manga (Republicanos) announced on social media that users of the express public transportation line will be entitled to a free Coca-Cola.
The action will take place every Friday, during the return from work.

With about 4,000 m², the building constructed in a traditional neighborhood in France looks like a rainbow, has a colorful facade, mixes vibrant glass, and creates one of the most unusual visuals in Bordeaux.
The program will last for 30 days. According to information from Diário do Litoral, the proposal is to acknowledge those who use public transportation daily while strengthening the bond between municipal administration and the population.
Express Line Already Considered a Highlight
The benefited line connects the São Paulo and Santo Antônio Terminals and is considered the most modern in the city.
The buses are equipped with air conditioning, free wi-fi, installed tablets, and USB ports to charge cell phones and other devices. The standard fare for the trip is R$ 4.40.
In addition to the infrastructure, there are extra benefits for specific groups. Students can use the transportation for free on any day of the week.
Passengers who hold the Social Card are entitled to free rides on Sundays and holidays.
Recognition and Closer Connection
According to the publication, the idea is to offer a small reward for those who face the daily routine of public transportation.
And because the administration believes that symbolic actions can have a significant impact, the beverage distribution aims to mark a new approach to the residents.
Therefore, for a month, traveling on Sorocaba’s express line will have an added detail: a free Coca-Cola at the end of the week.
