A Milestone For Neoortho And Curitiba
The investment in the new unit is part of a robust strategy by Neoortho to meet the growing demand in the orthopedic market.
The new factory is expected to start operating in the first semester of 2026. This fact is noteworthy, as the company will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025.
With a total area of 7,700 square meters, the new factory will be much larger than the company’s current structure, which occupies only 1,800 square meters of production space and 400 square meters of office.
Dr. Geninho Thomé, founder and president of Neoortho, highlighted the importance of this step:
“The significant growth we’ve had in recent years reinforces the need to expand our structure to meet the growing demand of the Brazilian and Latin American markets. The new factory is a fundamental step for us to continue innovating and increasing our impact on health.”
Boosting The Local Economy And Creating New Jobs
The expansion of Neoortho will have a direct impact on the local economy of Curitiba.
Currently, the company has 199 direct employees and about 1,000 indirect ones. With the inauguration of the new factory, it is projected that around a 25% increase in direct job vacancies will be generated, contributing to the strengthening of the local economy and the growth of the industrial sector.
Furthermore, the new unit will serve as a platform to promote events, workshops, and strengthen ties with professionals and decision-makers in the healthcare field.
The increase in production capacity will also allow Neoortho to further diversify its offerings, creating new possibilities in the orthopedic sector, with a greater focus on technology and product customization.
Modernization And Innovation In Production Processes
The new factory of Neoortho will also be a milestone regarding the modernization of its processes.
The company is designing a highly technological space, with a more linear and integrated workflow, which will allow the optimization of its production processes.
According to Pedro Carvalho, the company’s industrial director,
“This new space will allow a more linear workflow, with even more organized and technological processes. We are creating an environment that favors innovation and productivity, consolidating Neoortho as a reference in orthopedic solutions. In addition, we reaffirm Neoortho’s commitment to Curitiba, contributing to job creation and local economic development.”
In addition, the integration between the factory and the offices will be an important differentiator, promoting greater operational efficiency and enhancing communication among employees.
The new unit will also house an area dedicated to Neocustom, Neoortho’s division specialized in the manufacture of custom 3D implants and titanium, consolidating the company’s focus on personalization and precision in orthopedic treatment.
