Applications for the Aeronautics Competition Start on January 15 and Go Until February 14, 2024, with Various Benefits!
The announcement of the aeronautics competition has been published, which offers 194 vacancies for the Non-Commissioned Officer Training Course (CFS), with expected entry in January 2026.
The opportunities are aimed at candidates of both sexes who have completed high school and wish to study at the Aeronautics Specialists School (EEAR), located in Guaratinguetá, in the state of São Paulo.
To apply, interested candidates must be between 17 and 24 years old, completed by December 31, 2026. Furthermore, it is essential that the candidate is single and does not have children or dependents.

Course Structure and Available Vacancies
The Non-Commissioned Officer Training Course will be conducted in a boarding regime and will last for two years, covering instructions in general, military, and specialized technical areas. The 194 vacancies are distributed across ten areas of operation:
- Communications: 20 positions
- Structure and Painting: 10
- Flight Equipment: 6
- Aeronautical Mechanics: 45
- War Material: 16
- Meteorology: 20
- Aeronautical Information: 12
- Cartography: 2
- Guard and Security: 13
- Air Traffic Control: 50
During the course, the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) will provide meals, accommodation, uniforms, and medical and dental assistance, in addition to an initial remuneration of around R$ 1,200.

After graduation, new sergeants will be assigned to serve in units spread throughout Brazil, with a current salary of R$ 3,825, plus allowances.
Stages of the Aeronautics Competition
The initial phase of the competition consists of an objective test, which will include questions on Portuguese language, English language, mathematics, and physics.
The test is scheduled for June 1 and will be held in 16 municipalities:

- Recife (PE)
- Fortaleza (CE)
- Natal (RN)
- Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
- Belo Horizonte (MG)
- São Paulo and São José dos Campos (SP)
- Campo Grande (MS)
- Canoas and Santa Maria (RS)

- Boa Vista (RR)
- Porto Velho (RO)
After the objective test, candidates will undergo a health inspection, psychological evaluation, and a physical test, scheduled to take place between August and October. Enrollment and the start of the course are scheduled for January 14, 2026.
Additional Information
Those interested in requesting a waiver of the registration fee should do so by the last day of the registration deadline.
Waivers will be granted to bone marrow donors and beneficiaries of the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico).
