In total, slots are available for the following formations: cultural agent (30 slots), DJ (60 slots), video editor (120 slots), photographer (60 slots), and band musician (30 slots).
With a total workload of 200 hours, the courses are expected to start in March and finish in May 2025, and the school provides a complete immersion so that students can gain practical skills.
The classes will take place in two locations: at the Barros Barreto State School in the Paripe neighborhood of Salvador, and at the IFBA in Lauro de Freitas, located in the Itinga neighborhood.
For those who enroll, the process will be completely free, but slots are limited. Therefore, interested parties should act quickly!
How to Enroll?
Enrollment is open and can be done until February 9 simply by filling out an online form available on the IFBA website.
Attention: slots will be filled in order of enrollment and based on the complete documentation of candidates.
This means that the sooner you enroll, the greater your chances of securing a spot in the desired course.
Who Can Enroll?
To ensure greater inclusion and diversity, IFBA has established a priority target audience for the courses. Young people between 16 and 29 years old, as well as individuals registered with the National Employment System (Sine) and the Unified Register (CadÚnico), will have priority in enrollment.
Additionally, the announcement establishes an affirmative action that prioritizes the inclusion of black, brown, and indigenous candidates, with 60% of slots reserved for these groups.
There is also a quota of 5% of slots for people with disabilities (PCD) and 5% for quilombolas.
These courses aim to ensure equity and inclusion of diverse groups, addressing the promotion of diversity, gender equality, and combating all forms of discrimination.
Benefits and Financial Incentives for Selected Federal Institute Students
In addition to being an excellent training opportunity, students who enroll and attend classes regularly will be entitled to a monthly financial aid of R$ 4.5 per class hour.
Throughout the course, the student can receive up to R$ 900 depending on the number of classes attended, which is a great incentive to ensure dedication and success in professional training.
Affirmative Action and Inclusion Criteria
IFBA follows the principles of affirmative action, with 60% of slots designated for black, brown, and indigenous candidates, aiming to promote greater diversity in educational and work environments.
If any of these slots are not filled, they will be redistributed to the open competition, which represents 30% of the total slots.
