The 100 Sub Pro weighs about 260 kilograms, not including the custom cabinet, which further increases the total weight of the equipment.
This is clearly a product aimed at specialized environments, such as luxury home theaters or studios that demand extreme performance.
In addition to the 100 Sub Pro, Ascendo also introduced a 64-inch model. Both are part of a new generation of subwoofers that seek to combine technical performance, innovation, and impressive scale.
Since 1999, the German brand has been known for manufacturing speakers aimed at the audiophile audience.
In 2017, it had already launched a model with a 50-inch driver. Now, this tradition evolves with the new launches.
Technology Inspired by Cinema
The relationship between the new subwoofers and the world of cinema is not just technical. The brand’s very presentation references the classic scene from the movie “Back to the Future”, when Marty McFly is thrown back while playing his guitar plugged into a giant amplifier.
The comparison is used to illustrate the visceral impact that subwoofers can have.

The new subwoofers from Ascendo will be showcased during the Audio Advice Live event, taking place this weekend in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The company has not yet disclosed prices, but considering the specifications, a high value is expected.
