Chinese company launches new rectangular solar panels that promise to be the future of the market. The company has previously received awards for its frameless solar cells.
The chinese Dah Solar recently launched in Brazil its new solar panels with rectangular cells, which can generate more energy than models with conventional square cells. The panels, from the DHN-72R18 line, feature TOPCon N-Type technology, +600W of power and 182mm x 192mm solar cells.
New rectangular solar panels achieve 26,5 efficiency%
According to the company, as they are lighter and more compact, the equipment saves space and provides more power per square meter than conventional models. According to Leonardo Rodrigues, LATAM technical manager at DAH Solar, a 630W module with square solar cells needs an area of 2,80 m² and has an energy generation efficiency of approximately 22,54%.
While a rectangular cell panel occupies an area of 2,70 m² and presents 23,30% efficiency, according to Leonardo. In fact, tests carried out by the company with the new solar panels reveal that TOPCon N-type cells can reach an efficiency of 26,5%.

The DHN-72R18 line is available in the regular format with edge, in the exclusive full-screen model, with infinity edge or without frame on the front patented by DAH and also in bifacial double glass. The new solar panels have up to 15 years of manufacturing warranty and 30 years of linear output power at 87,4%, guaranteeing greater energy generation during the useful life of the system.
It is worth mentioning that DAH Solar received the award EUPD Research SolarProsumer to Austria. The certification conveys the high recognition of prosumers regarding the company's innovation, influence and effectiveness in promoting and implementing the prosumer concept within the scope of solar energy solutions.
DAH Solar receives innovative product of the year award
In addition to these new solar panels recently launched, DAH Solar won the Outstanding Product Innovative Of The Yer award during The Solar Week Malaysia Leadership 2023. Due to TOPCon full-screen technology.
According to the company, the product has caught the market's attention since it debuted during SNEC 2023, held in Shanghai, China. The company also highlighted that on August 21st, it was listed as Tier 1, due to technological innovation, stable financial situation and deep industrial integration layout.
This result is also recognized by professional research institutes and global markets in relation to strengthening technological innovation and brand influence of DAH Solar. The manufacturer highlights that it establishes a close partnership with InverPower in Malaysia.
During the meeting with Daniel Koh, Sales Director at InverPower, he commented on DAH's global patent full-screen panel as the most successful innovation in module technology.
