Mechanical / Naval Engineer
Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro
The project: Petrobras project located in Macaé; Project duration: 3 years (36 months); Working hours: Administrative, with the possibility of traveling and offshore shipments.
Engineering Technical Support Services in New Operational Technologies in Jacket Inspection and Class Inspection of Offshore Units.
- Act in the interface with internal customers and external suppliers by providing information related to subsea jacket inspection operations and inspection of vessel classes;
- Develop engineering solutions focused on reducing or eliminating risks to safety, the environment, health and increasing productivity in operations with inspection of jackets and inspection of vessel classes;
- Participate and develop studies to support the creation or implementation of new operational technologies for inspection of jackets and inspection of vessel classes;
- Monitor and coordinate operations for field data collection;
- Issue a report with a technical and economic feasibility study comparing proposals for new technologies;
- Issue schedule for the implementation of new technologies;
- Monitor and coordinate field or bench tests of new technologies;
- Conduct training, support users and clarify doubts regarding the use of new technologies.
Requirements:
Degree in Naval Engineering; or Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering with a postgraduate degree in Naval Engineering;
Solid experience in offshore shipments in class inspection;
Registration with the Class Council;
CBSP Course (Basic Platform Safety Course) and Huet (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training);
Domain of Microsoft Office - Excel, with ability to generate dynamic tables and graphs;
Advanced English.
