It has already been announced that the president of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) intends to hold a new public contest in 2023. This information has left applicants optimistic.

The BNDES 2023 Contest Is Expected to Have Vacancies for Administrative Support Technician at High School Level
Additionally, it will also include possible positions for higher education levels: Basic Professional in the areas of Administration, Systems Analysis – Development, Systems Analysis – Support, Architecture, Archiving, Library Science, Accounting, Social Communication, Law, Economics, Engineering, Geology, and Psychology.
The starting salary for an Administrative Support Technician at BNDES is R$ 3,941.38, with the possibility of increasing to up to R$ 11,815.79 for those who excel in their careers within the institution.
The starting salaries for higher education professionals are R$ 12,370.96, which can reach R$ 28,807.70 throughout the program. In addition to the monthly salary, BNDES employees currently have the right to various additional benefits.
While working at the bank, professionals receive:
- Meal Voucher: R$ 1,857.61;
- Health Assistance: R$ 1,844.74 (average cost per beneficiary);
- Periodic Exams: R$ 382.43 (related to expenses for occupational exams and correlates, including complementary exams requested by occupational doctors for active employees);

The New President of BNDES Said that Public Contests Will Be Resumed Soon
Aloizio Mercadante announced the desire to resume BNDES’s participation in selection processes, indicating the possible holding of a contest as early as 2023. The new president took office in February. “We will restart selection processes that haven’t occurred in over 10 years, with quotas.”
BNDES executives explained that the selection process will be discussed directly with the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services. During Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s term, the ministry was responsible for analyzing applications and sanctioning various types of federal public contests.

The administrative technician position was open to candidates at the intermediate level of the organization. Fundação Cesgranrio acted as the organizing body of the event. Candidates were judged based on their performance in objective and essay exams, which served to exclude and categorize them.
