Thus, the writing test, which is classificatory and eliminatory, will consist of a dissertation text on a current and unprecedented topic, which will be worth about 40 points.

The Title Evaluation will be classificatory and will consist of stages for positions of Basic Education Teacher (PEB), Basic Education Specialist (EEB), Educational Analyst – School Inspector (ANEIE), Educational Analyst (ANE), and finally Basic Education Analyst (AEB).

In 2017, the State Department of Education of Minas Gerais held its last public contest to select more than 16,700 vacancies for positions of Basic Education Specialists and Basic Education Teachers at the higher education level.

– Basic Education Specialist – 700 vacancies;

– Basic Education Teacher – 16,000 vacancies in the subjects of Art (1,209), Biology/Science (1,171), Physical Education (1,076), Philosophy (767), Physics (1,430), Geography (1,107), History (1,143), Modern Foreign Language/English (1,721), Portuguese Language (2,224), Mathematics (2,489), Chemistry (868), and Sociology (796).

The remuneration offered for both cases was about R$ 2,135.64 for a workload of 24 hours per week.

The company responsible for the entire selection process was Fumarc, which was in charge of administering the objective tests and conducting the Title Evaluation.

The candidates took a test with more than 60 multiple-choice questions about specific and general knowledge.
