The Public Competition of UFRN Aims to Fill the Positions for Administrative Technician. According to the Published Announcement, Candidates with High School and/or Technical Education May Apply.
The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) announced the approval of a new announcement for public competition, aimed at the positions of Administrative Technicians in Education. The announcement was made on Friday, (12/08), via the website of the Permanent Competition Nucleus (Comperve), the institution responsible for organizing the exam. A total of 18 professionals will be hired to fill the available positions.
Distribution of Positions
The announcement includes the opening of 18 level “D” positions in the career plan of UFRN technicians. These opportunities will be distributed among the campuses of Caicó, Currais Novos, Macaíba, Natal, and Santa Cruz.
Requirements to Participate in the Selection
The positions are equally divided between two roles: Information Technology Technician (Support and Networks) and Information Technology Technician (Systems).

Both require a completed technical course in the area of computer science, information technology, or electronics with an emphasis in computer systems.
Alternatively, a completed high school degree plus a subsequent technical course in the area of computer science is acceptable.
Registrations and Fees
The registration period is scheduled to occur from January 22 to February 25, 2024.
The registration fee is R$ 100, with exemptions for candidates belonging to families registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) and bone marrow donors.
The period to request an exemption will be from January 22 to February 8, 2024.
How Much Does an Administrative Technician at UFRN Earn?
The starting salary is R$ 2,667.19, which may reach R$ 4,667.58, depending on the employee’s qualification.
When Will the Exam for the UFRN Competition Take Place?
The public competition will have eliminatory and classificatory stages, including objective tests on Portuguese language, legislation, and specific knowledge, in addition to a written test (essay).
The tests are scheduled to be held on April 7 of the following year, at 2 PM, in the municipalities of Caicó, Currais Novos, Mossoró, Natal, and Santa Cruz.
What Is Covered in the UFRN Competition?
The objective test will consist of 50 questions, distributed among Portuguese language, legislation, and specific knowledge.
In the essay (written test), the candidate must write a text according to the formal standard of the Portuguese language, using a specified communicative situation as a basis.
When Is the Result of the UFRN Competition Released?
The official preliminary answer keys of the objective tests will be published on the Comperve website starting at 5 PM on the day following the tests. The result is expected to be released on April 29.
Validity of the UFRN Competition
The public competition of UFRN will be valid for 2 years from the homologation, with the possibility of extension for an additional two years.
