Candidates Anxiously Await the New EBSERH Public Competition. The Exam Has Just Been Confirmed and Will Offer More Than 600 Positions for High School, Technical, and Higher Education Candidates.
The expectation for the arrival of the new public competition of the Brazilian Company of Hospital Services (EBSERH) is high. The selection process already has a budget reserved, according to the report on the assessment of expenses and primary revenues of this year’s financial and budgetary programming, released in May by the National Treasury Budget and Finance Secretariat.

The announcement of the public notice is expected to happen in the second half of this year, according to information from the Minister of Education, Camilo Santana, on the last day 19. New data will be released soon.
According to the basic project already released, EBSERH will offer opportunities in 39 hospital units, divided into 551 positions for the medical field, across 69 specialties, and 98 positions for the assistance area, across 39 specialties.

The last 34 positions are aimed at the administrative sector, across 14 specialties. The positions available in the public competition have yet to be confirmed. However, it is possible to have an idea of the requirements and salaries that may be offered.
For positions that require a technical high school education, salaries start at R$ 2,502.87 for a 24-hour workweek, R$ 3,754.29 for 36 hours, and R$ 4,171.99 for 40 hours. For higher education positions, the salaries are as follows:
- Nurse – R$ 7,715.96 for 36 weekly hours;
- Physician 30 hours – up to R$ 10,564.32;
- Physician 40 hours – up to R$ 19,614.63;
- Physician 24 hours – R$ 9,973.13;
- Journalist – R$ 4,541.26 for 25 weekly hours.
In addition, EBSERH offers approved candidates in the public competition benefits such as a food allowance of R$ 563.16, assistance for persons with disabilities for children or dependents worth R$ 207.48, and pre-school assistance of R$ 183.72.

Details of the Last EBSERH Public Competition
The last EBSERH competition took place in 2019, when 2,464 positions were made available for immediate filling, in addition to forming a reserve list for various positions, with options for high school, technical, and higher education levels, across several states in Brazil. At that time, the starting salaries varied from R$ 2,170.22 to R$ 10,350.56.
The selection process included various notices, divided by two organizing bodies, which were the Vunesp Foundation and the Brazilian Institute of Training and Qualification (IBFC). In total, more than 324,832 people registered.
