Expected Announcement for the First Federal Exam of Pré-Sal to Be Published Soon, With Salaries Up to R$ 19.9 Thousand
Expectations are high for the announcements of the first federal exam of the Pré-Sal Petroleum, which may be released in the coming days.
The selection already has a contract signed with the responsible organization, the Institute of Development and Training (IDCAP), since October 31.
This public exam will have 880 vacancies, with 100 for immediate filling and 780 for the formation of a reserve list, according to the jcconcursos website.

Positions and Salaries
The available positions are for professionals with higher education, offering attractive starting salaries that can reach up to R$ 19,610. Check out the main positions and their respective salaries:
- Lawyer: R$ 19,942
- Corporate Management Analyst: R$ 8,240
- Information Technology Analyst: R$ 9,350
- Oil and Gas Specialist: R$ 19,610
In addition, the exam will have reserved vacancies, with 5% for people with disabilities and 20% for black candidates.
Registration Fees
The registration fees for the public exam will be as follows:
- Analysts: R$ 100
- Lawyer and Specialist: R$ 150
Exam Details
The exams of the Pré-Sal exam is expected to take place in the first half of 2025 in several cities, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Salvador.
The exam will have different stages, including:
- Objective Tests for all positions
- Essay Tests only for lawyer and oil specialist
- The objective test will consist of 60 questions, structured as follows:
- Portuguese Language: 10 questions
- English Language: 10 questions
- Specific Knowledge: 40 questions
For the positions of Lawyer and Oil and Gas Specialist, the Discursive Exam will include 2 questions, one in Portuguese and another in English, both related to the specific knowledge of the position. Each question will be worth 50 points, totaling 100 points.
Previous and Historical Exams
Although this is the first federal exam of Pré-Sal Petroleum, a previous selection took place in 2017, offering 240 temporary vacancies.
In that selection, 15 vacancies were available for immediate filling and 225 for the reserve list, all for the position of assistant requiring higher education.
