According to sources heard by Qconcursos Folha Dirigida, the new notice will likely be released in 2025.
This planning follows a pattern similar to previous recruitments, like the contract signed in 2016, whose notices were only published the following year.
In the meantime, Petrobras continues to assess its internal needs and prepare for future hiring.

In recent recruitments, Petrobras launched two notices in 2023, offering a total of 7,531 vacancies, between immediate opportunities and creation of a reserve list.
These vacancies included technical functions essential for the company’s operation, and the expectation is that the upcoming notice will maintain or increase this number, given the state-owned company’s expansion scenario.
Expansion and More Jobs: The Industrial Complex in Itaboraí
In addition to the recruitment, Petrobras is investing in large-scale projects that promise to impact the labor market in Rio de Janeiro.
During the inauguration of the Boaventura Energy Complex in Itaboraí (RJ), the president of Petrobras, Magda Chambriard, announced the creation of 10 thousand direct jobs during the construction phase of this new industrial hub.
These figures are impressive and indicate the state-owned company’s commitment to boosting the economic development of the state and the country.
“We will invest R$7 billion in this project, generating 10 thousand direct jobs during the construction phase, in addition to 3 thousand permanent positions after the completion of the complex,” highlighted Magda Chambriard.

Cesgranrio in Charge of the Recruitments: What to Expect?

According to information obtained by Qconcursos Folha Dirigida, the new contract with Cesgranrio was signed in 2024 and will be valid until July 2028, allowing Petrobras to conduct recruitments at any time during this period, if necessary.
The company will be responsible for all stages, from planning to execution of the selection processes, ensuring that everything is done efficiently and transparently.
