The salary of R$ 4,8 thousand can exceed R$ 10 thousand when combined with a titling bonus. Know How to Participate in the Public Competition of the Federal Institute
Applications for the selection process take place through the IFSP website between July 18 and September 2, 2024. The application fee is R$ 190, and payment must be made, without exception, by September 4. Applications with payment made after this date will be denied.
It is worth mentioning that the vacancies in the public competition of the Federal Institute are distributed among the campuses Avaré, Boituva, Bragança Paulista, Campos do Jordão, Cubatão, Ilha Solteira, Itaquaquecetuba, Itapetininga, Miracatu, Pirituba, Presidente Epitácio, Registro, São Carlos, São João da Boa Vista, São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Sorocaba, Suzano, and Votuporanga.
According to the IFSP competition announcement, the salary for the teaching position is R$ 4,875.18. This amount can reach R$ 10,481.64 when combined with a titling bonus. The titling bonus is divided as follows:
- Improvement: R$ 487.51;
- Specialization: R$ 975.04;
- Master’s: R$ 2,437.59;
- Doctorate: R$ 5,606.46.
Stages of the Public Competition Federal Institute
Candidates will be evaluated through an objective test, a didactic knowledge test, and a title evaluation. Lasting 4 hours, the assessment will consist of 40 multiple-choice questions, with 15 questions related to legislation and pedagogical knowledge, and 25 questions pertinent to the area of knowledge. The tests are scheduled to take place on October 13, 2024.
The Didactic Performance Test will last 45 minutes, with an expected additional 10 minutes for the committee’s questioning. The lesson plan must be prepared in three copies. This stage is scheduled to occur from November 23 to December 1 of this year.
Finally, the title evaluation aims to assess the academic background and professional experience of the candidates. They must submit their titles on the day of the Didactic Performance Test.
