The federal government has authorized the tests for the selection, and the ordinance was officially published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOU) last Tuesday (2). The official notice will be disclosed within six months.
What Positions Are Offered in the MMA Public Competition?
The MMA public selection will select 98 people for the position of environmental analyst, which requires a higher education degree. In this position, the approved professionals will play an essential and strategic role in the environmental planning of national policies in defense of the environment.
This professional is responsible for managing processes related to the environment, according to current legislation, and reducing environmental impacts. Individuals with a degree certificate in any field of study may apply for the MMA public competition, provided that the educational institution is recognized by the MEC.

Considering the last MMA competition held in 2010, the selection process was divided into objective and written tests. Thus, participants can start studying in subjects such as:

At that time, more than 36,000 people registered for the selection process, resulting in a competition of 183 candidates per vacancy. In the end, 347 candidates were approved.
At that time, the organizing body of the public competition was Cespe/UnB (now Cebraspe). The admission of analysts is generally divided into specific sectors. In the last selection process, vacancies were filled in the Human Resources, National Water Resources Policy, Strategic Planning, Climate Change, and Biodiversity sectors.
