Applicants must be at least 18 years old on the date of appointment, be up to date with obligations resulting from electoral legislation, and, if male, military service.

How to Register for the Esmeraldas City Hall Selection Process
Applications for the city hall contest must be submitted by August 20 of this year. The registration fees vary: R$ 100 for higher-level positions, R$ 70 for technical and middle-level positions, and R$ 50 for complete and incomplete elementary-level positions.
Candidates are allowed to apply for up to two vacancies in the Esmeraldas city hall selection process. Therefore, the information regarding the date, time, and location of the exams will be available from September 16 on the Instituto Consulplan website, and candidates must print the Confirmation of Registration Card.
The organizing body is not responsible for registration requests not received due to technical issues with computers, communication failures, network congestion, among other errors.
Stages of the Esmeraldas City Hall Selection Process
The objective test for the city hall contest, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, will cover the programmatic content present in the notice. The questions will be multiple choice, with 4 options and one correct answer. A candidate will be considered approved if they achieve at least 60% of the points in the multiple-choice objective tests and do not receive a score of 0 in any subject.
The discursive test consists of an essay for technical and higher-level positions and a legal opinion for the position of Municipal Attorney. The test will be graded on a scale from 0 to 30 points for all positions.
The Evaluation of Titles will only be conducted for technical and higher-level candidates approved in the last two stages. This stage will be worth 5 points, even if the sum of the title values exceeds this amount.
Titles for the Esmeraldas city hall contest, accompanied by the properly completed and signed Title Submission Form, must be sent via Sedex or Registered Mail with Acknowledgment of Receipt to the headquarters of Instituto Consulplan.
