The Ministry of Defense Has Several Open Positions in Public Competitions. The Opportunities Are for the Navy, Army, and Air Force, Totaling More Than 1,600 Positions

Are you a candidate? Then be sure to check the public competitions open by the Navy, Army, and Air Force. The competitions offer more than 1,600 positions for high school and higher education candidates. The public competitions provide positions for almost all states in Brazil, and the Ministry of Defense is expected to release other competitions throughout this year.

Check the 2022 Open Public Competitions

The Cadet Preparatory School Competition (EsPCEx) has 440 open positions for candidates with a high school diploma, and applications can be made until May 23 of this year. Of this total, 40 are aimed at the female public.

Interested candidates must be between 17 and 22 years old. The selection process includes steps such as health inspection; psychological assessment; physical aptitude exam; verification of requirements for enrollment.

The Navy Public Competition aims to offer positions in the Marine Corps Soldiers Formation Course for young individuals who have completed high school. The course provides food, medical, dental, psychological, social, and religious assistance, as well as uniforms for those approved.

Other Opportunities Available in the Navy and Air Force

The Navy also offers 90 immediate positions for the selection process of the Brazilian Navy, which will be based at the Fluvial Captaincy of Western Amazon, in Amazonas. The positions are for seamen, tailors, cooks, health assistants, and nurses.

Applications can be made until March 9 of this year at the Technical Center for the Training of Fluvial Workers of the Western Amazon (CTFFAO), located at Rua Marquês de Santa Cruz No. 246, Centro.

In the Air Force, the public competition offers 146 positions spread across 16 states and the federal district. The competition will include objective tests, and positions are aimed at higher education levels such as doctors, engineers, pharmacists, and dentists.

For the Army, applications for the positions can be made until May 23, and the total registration fee is R$ 100. Of the total positions, there is a reserve of 88 positions for black or mixed-race candidates. 80 positions are for the male public and 8 positions are for the female public in this category. Registration must be done through the website of the Army Cadet Preparatory School.

For the Navy competition, registrations can be made until March 24 of this year, and the fee to register is only R$ 40. Candidates must be young individuals aged 18 to 22.

The General Command of the Marine Corps will open registrations on its website on February 14. Those approved will receive monthly salaries of R$ 1,303.90. For the Air Force public competition, the fee is R$ 130, and registrations must be completed by March 2022.
