Public Competitions in Brazil Gain New Momentum with SESA PR Announcement

Public competitions in Brazil continue to heat up the job market, and the State Department of Health of Paraná (SESA PR) has just reinforced this scenario.

On this Friday (December 12, 2025), the state government published the announcement that opens 641 opportunities, with good remuneration and salaries reaching R$ 7,616.88, in different regions of the state.

The contest will be organized by the FAFIPA Foundation, with applications anticipated for January 2026, offering stability and professional growth in a strategic sector of public administration.

Public Competitions Strengthen the Job Market in the Health Sector

While the private sector faces fluctuations, public competitions remain a solid alternative in Brazil.

In the case of the SESA PR contest, the opportunities cover Technical and Higher Education levels, broadening the reach for different professional profiles. Furthermore, the health sector remains among the most valued in the public job market, especially due to the constant demand for essential services.

SESA PR Announcement Offers Good Remuneration and Attractive Benefits

The good remuneration is noticeable right from the start. The position of Health Promoter offers a base salary of R$ 7,616.88, while the Health Execution Promoter position guarantees an initial salary of R$ 4,231.60.

In addition, employees will have access to benefits that increase the monthly earnings. The announcement provides for food assistance of R$ 834.74. It also includes the Health Activity Bonus (GAS), which can reach R$ 1,360.03, depending on the designated unit.

Public Competitions in Brazil: Applications and Deadlines Defined

Applications for the SESA PR contest will occur exclusively online, on the FAFIPA Foundation’s website. The period begins at 8 AM on January 14, 2026 and continues until 11:59 PM on February 12, 2026.

Fees vary according to the position. For Higher Education level, the fee will be R$ 130.00. For Technical level, the fee will be R$ 90.00. Payment can be made via bank slip or Pix, until February 13, 2026.

Fee Waiver Expands Opportunities in Public Competitions

Considering inclusion, the announcement provides for waiver of the application fee for candidates registered in CadÚnico, blood, bone marrow or human milk donors, and voters who served in elections.

The request must be made between January 14 and 19, 2026, with supporting documentation submitted. If the request is denied, the candidate can still appeal.

Distribution of Vacancies Reinforces Opportunities in Brazil

Out of the 641 opportunities, 325 vacancies are allocated for the position of Health Promoter, at the Higher Education level. Meanwhile, 316 vacancies encompass the position of Health Execution Promoter, at the Technical level.

The areas covered include Administration, Nursing, Architecture, Social Work, Accounting, Engineering, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Dentistry, and Psychology. Thus, the contest caters to professionals from multiple backgrounds.

Objective Test Determines Ranking in SESA PR Contest

The selection will occur in two stages. The first will be the Objective Test, scheduled for March 29, 2026, with applications in various cities in Paraná, such as Curitiba, Londrina, Maringá, and Cascavel.

The organizing body will administer a test with 60 multiple-choice questions, distributed among Portuguese Language, Logical Reasoning, Basics of Law and SUS Legislation, and Specific Knowledge. To ensure approval, candidates must achieve the minimum score in each section and total at least 46 points.

Medical Evaluation Completes the Selection Process

After the objective test, the organizing body will call the successful candidates for the medical evaluation, which will be eliminatory. In this stage, doctors will conduct clinical exams to confirm the necessary physical fitness for the position, always in accordance with the current legislation regarding persons with disabilities.

Public Competitions Remain a Gateway to Stability

Given the current economic scenario, public competitions in Brazil continue to be one of the main gateways for those seeking good remuneration, stability, and professional growth.

The SESA PR contest stands out not only for the significant number of vacancies but also for its direct impact on strengthening the public health system and generating qualified opportunities in the job market.
