The Expectation Is That The Announcement For The First Pre-Salt Oil Competition Will Be Released Still This Year Of 2024 With Approved Candidates Revealed In 2025
The anticipated public competition for permanent positions at Pre-Salt Oil (PPSA) has been confirmed again, according to the 2023 Administration Report, recently published. The expectation is that the announcement will be released still in 2024, with the appointment of approved candidates expected for 2025. The selection had already been announced previously, in December 2023, and is now awaited with even more anticipation by those interested, according to the JC Concursos website.
The document reiterates the commitment of PPSA to hold the pre-salt oil competition, as part of the Strategic Plan for the period from 2024 to 2028. In 2023, the company presented to the Secretariat of Coordination and Governance of State-Owned Enterprises (SEST) a proposal for an updated Salary Structure Plan (PCS), aimed at attracting and retaining qualified employees. Once approved, the process for the pre-salt oil competition will continue.
Current Situation of The State-Owned Company
Currently, the state-owned company has 163 permanent employees, as stipulated by ordinance 5,750. Decree 11,478, published in 2023, removed PPSA from the National Privatization Program (PND) and Partnerships for Investment Programs of the Presidency of the Republic (PPI), demonstrating the importance of the company in the national scenario.
