Discover the Domestic Hydroelectric Microstation That Uses Tap Water to Generate Clean Energy and Reduce Your Electricity Bills by Up to 30%

In a world where sustainability and energy efficiency are increasingly crucial, the French start-up Zecub has developed an innovation that promises to transform the way families produce and consume electricity. Zecub created a domestic hydroelectric microstation that uses the pressure of tap water to generate electricity, providing an ecological and economical solution for households. Next, we will explore how this technology works, its benefits, and its potential impact on energy bills.

Technology, Design, and Energy

Zecub’s device is an ingenious system measuring 50 cm on each side and weighing 15 kg, designed to harness the pressure of running water. This system contains a micro turbine that converts the mechanical energy from the water flow into electrical energy. Each time a faucet is opened, the turbine generates electricity, which is stored in a battery for later use.

Energy Production

Zecub ensures that its device can produce between 5 and 7 kWh of electricity per day, based on an average annual water consumption of 220 m³ per household. This energy production is not only sufficient to cover a significant portion of a family’s daily electricity consumption but also represents a step toward domestic energy self-sufficiency.

Economic and Environmental Benefits of Energy

Reduction of Energy Costs

The implementation of this technology can reduce energy bills by up to 30%, equivalent to a potential savings of 30 euros per month. However, considering the rental cost of the device, which will be 15 euros monthly, the net savings for households is estimated to be 15 euros per month.

Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

In addition to financial savings, Zecub’s device contributes to environmental sustainability by generating clean and renewable energy. This approach not only reduces dependence on non-renewable energy sources but also decreases the carbon footprint of households.

Installation and Maintenance of the Energy Microstation

The Zecub system is easy to install and requires no more than 30 minutes. It integrates into the home’s water supply and does not affect water quality. Additionally, it features a leak alert function that helps identify and repair water losses in the system, thus improving household efficiency.

Innovation and Recognitions in Energy

Mobile App

To facilitate the monitoring and management of the generated energy, Zecub will offer a mobile app. This app will allow users to track energy production and savings in real time, providing complete control over their energy consumption.

Recognitions and Commercial Future

Zecub was awarded a gold medal at the Lépine 2024 competition, highlighting its innovation and potential impact. The device is set to be launched on the market in 2025, and the company plans to offer more powerful versions for professional use, thereby expanding its reach and benefits.

Zecub’s domestic hydroelectric microstation represents a revolution in the field of renewable energy and domestic sustainability. By harnessing the pressure of tap water to generate electricity, Zecub offers an innovative and practical solution that can significantly reduce energy bills and contribute to a greener future. With its upcoming commercialization, this technology promises to be a pillar in the transition to more sustainable and self-sufficient homes.

É como se passasse por um filtro robusto para purificar água.mas a diferença é para girar uma turbina que talvez não seje muito pesado para o uso doméstico.
