New Notice May Bring Opportunities in Various Areas, with 49 Positions Already Available and More 42 to Be Created!
The National Council of the Public Ministry (CNMP) is about to change the course of public competitions in Brazil. With the release of the Annual Budget Law Project (PLOA), new outlooks are emerging regarding 91 positions. Among them, there is both allocation and creation of positions. For an additional 183 positions to be filled in other branches of the Public Ministry. The total estimated annual budget expense is R$ 67.4 million, according to the website brasilperfil.

This project, however, is still under review and, if approved, will only impact a potential notice for 2025.

They work 40 hours a week, and the notice states that the average salary is R$ 12.4 thousand. Could it be better?
Analysts play a fundamental role within the CNMP, conducting process analysis and instruction, as well as developing studies and preparing technical documents. Opportunities for Technicians
The Technician positions at the CNMP require a high school diploma and include roles such as Administrative Technician and Institutional Security Technician. Working 40 hours a week, these positions pay an average of R$ 7.5 thousand per month. These professionals are responsible for handling documents, producing administrative drafts, serving the public, and assisting in evaluations and audits. For instance, if these Technicians decided to stop working today, the CNMP could not continue to operate for more than a few weeks or months.
Preparing for the CNMP 2025 Competition
Although the notice for 2025 is not yet available, interested candidates have an excellent opportunity to start preparing based on previous years’ notices. Among the stages that should occur in the next competition are an objective test with general and specific knowledge questions, and depending on the roles, a written test and physical assessment. Some of the topics generally covered in the objective test are: Portuguese Language, Ethics, Institutional Legislation, Financial Administration, Computer Knowledge, and Legal Concepts.
