“We are optimistic and hopeful that Construsul 2019 will mark the kickoff for the resumption of civil construction in Brazil. We perceive that the sector is very optimistic, but everyone is keeping their feet on the ground,” evaluated the director of the promoter, Paulo Richter. “The fair was excellent. The attendance reached expectations, and the renewal rate for 2020 is in line with our expectations. Furthermore, it is noticeable that exhibitors are satisfied with the business conducted during the fair,” said the event promoter.

After several years without being part of the Construsul exhibition frame, Âncora Group returned to participate in the event in 2019, considering the upward market in the country. “We noticed that the fair has grown significantly, increasing the qualified audience. We received several distributors and retailers, managing to expand our relationships in the South of the Country. This year, we presented our new brand, Einhell, to the southerners, and the reception was very good,” highlighted Roberto Bernardi, commercial director of the group.
“Participation in the fair exceeded our expectations, as we managed to close various negotiations and have others in progress. Construsul definitely made a difference for the second half of Âncora Group in terms of business, especially in civil construction. In fact, we have already secured a space 50% larger for the next edition, when we intend to bring an even greater mix of products,” celebrated Bernardi.
Highlights of Civil Construction in This Edition
In the 2019 edition, one of the major highlights occurred in the Construsul Construtechs Space, which brought together several startups showcasing innovative technological projects in the construction market. “The fair is also about innovation, and that’s why this year we brought this space, which, due to its success, is already confirmed for the 2020 edition,” revealed Richter. He also adds that the civil construction market has always been reluctant regarding the use of new technologies, but this paradigm is beginning to change, bringing savings and agility to new processes:

“The sector had to yield to technology to learn to optimize construction and management processes, aiming to reduce costs. At the fair, we were able to make some technological concepts of the sector tangible. Visitors could see augmented reality applied to civil construction up close, for example,” explained Richter.
