Increase in Infrastructure and Electric Mobility Projects Driven Demand for New Positions
The increase in demand for infrastructure and electric mobility projects has driven the search for new positions in the infrastructure and energy sector. This is indicated by a survey from Michael Page, one of the largest consulting firms specialized in mid- and senior-level recruitment, part of PageGroup. According to the consultancy, hiring rates for professionals in the field grew by 50% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
Technical and management positions, such as application specialist, sales manager, sales director, and applications director, were the roles that stood out the most and helped drive the increase during this period.
“The ongoing market expansion combined with the increase in electric infrastructure projects, especially in data centers, has led organizations to seek more professionals at managerial or executive levels. The same applies to battery systems, particularly focused on energy expansion and storage,” says Bruna Pescuma, manager at Michael Page.
