Increase in infrastructure and mobility projects electrical power boosted the demand for new positions
The increase in demand for infrastructure and electric mobility projects has boosted the search for new positions in the infrastructure and energy sector. This is according to a survey by Michael Page, one of the largest consultancies specializing in recruiting middle and senior management, part of the PageGroup. According to the consultancy, hiring of professionals in the segment grew 50% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
Technical and management positions, such as application specialist, sales manager, sales director and applications director were the positions that stood out the most and helped drive the increase in the period.
“The recurrent expansion of the market combined with the increase in electrical infrastructure projects, especially in data centers, has led organizations to seek more professionals at management or executive levels. The same goes for battery systems, notably focused on energy expansion and storage,” says Bruna Pescuma, manager at Michael Page.
