The Post Office has more than 4 THOUSAND immediate home office and on-site positions, as well as a reserve list for students throughout Brazil. The selection process of the institution has 4,382 positions without experience for the Young Apprentice Program, which will be governed by notice nº 001/2023 and coordinated by the Brazilian Post and Telegraph Company itself.
What Home Office and On-Site Positions Does the Young Apprentice Post Office Program Offer?
This selection process will be valid for one year, starting from the date of its approval, and may be extended for an equal period only once. The positions without experience will be filled in person or remotely in the following courses:
Administrative Assistant
Responsible for the processes of the administrative sector, assisting in the organization of files, issuing or entering invoices, and controlling correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and management reports. This professional is also responsible for supporting other areas, such as finance, human resources, and marketing.

Logistics Assistant
Assists in the application of logistics procedures, movement, storage, shipping, and distribution of materials and products. Collaborates in controlling logistics operations from a multimodal perspective.
Those interested in competing for positions in the Young Apprentice Post Office program must meet some requirements such as:
- Be enrolled in at least the 9th grade of elementary school;
- Be between 14 and 21 years old at the time of hiring, except in situations provided for in current laws and regulations;
- Be enrolled and regularly attending school if they have not completed high school.
- Not have previously been hired as a young apprentice or have an employment relationship with the Post Office.
Quota Systems and Applications for Post Office Positions Without Experience
In addition to the broad competition positions, there is a reserve of opportunities for people with disabilities and for black, brown, or mixed-race individuals. To access the allocation of all home office and on-site positions, it will be necessary to access the opening notice.
Those hired for the Young Apprentice Post Office opportunities will be entitled to a minimum hourly wage, meal vouchers, transportation vouchers, shared food at 5%, and Post Office uniforms.
The work schedule will be 20 hours per week, distributed across 4 hours per day. The Young Apprentice Post Office program is expected to last between 1 to 2 consecutive years, depending on the needs of public administration.
Those planning to apply must access the Post Office website and fill out the application form, as well as indicate the location for which they will compete. It is worth mentioning that no fee will be charged for the application.
Understand How the Selection Process for Home Office and On-Site Positions Will Work
The first phase of the selection process is the application, which is classificatory and should take place between the 27th of this month and April 21st of this year. After the applications, candidates will be classified based on the sum of the scores referring to monthly family income (up to 6 points), Educational Institution (up to 6 points), Age (up to 6 points), Participation in Social Programs provided for in the Opening Notice (up to 3 points).
The second phase of the selection process for the Young Apprentice Post Office program is eliminatory and consists of the electronic verification of the requirements informed at the time of application.
There will also be a pre-employment phase, which is eliminatory, consisting of the delivery of personal documents to verify the requirements and a medical admission evaluation, enrollment in the Learning Course of the qualified entity in technical professional training.
Finally, there will be a hiring phase, which will involve the signing of the apprenticeship contract by the candidate approved in the previous phases. In case of a tie between two or more candidates, preference will be given to:
A student who is underage, considering the year, month, and day of birth, a student who is within the situations provided for in the opening notice, and the criterion of application precedence, verified by the lowest application number.
