The free and paid course in Mining Equipment Operation is a partnership with SENAI and lasts three months, starting in July. Students will receive a certificate at the end of the course and will have the chance to be hired by CSN to work in iron ore extraction, an essential raw material for steel production.

Check Below the Requirements to Compete for the Vacancies in the Free Course by CSN in Partnership with SENAI

The course is intended for women over 18 years old, with a completed high school education, category B driving license, and availability to live in Congonhas (MG).

In addition to the free training, selected students will have the opportunity to learn from experienced and qualified professionals.

Course Schedule and Duration: The course will be held in the morning, from 7 AM to 12 PM, and lasts approximately 2 months, from July to September 2023. Classes will take place Monday through Friday.

Registration: Registrations are open until May 31 and can be made on the CSN website. To apply for the selection process, just access the registration link and fill out the form with your personal details and information about your education and professional experience.

CSN Made Two Large Acquisitions

CSN made two large acquisitions recently. The first was the purchase of Elizabeth Cimentos and Elizabeth Mineração, which are considered some of the most modern cement plants in the country and have a strong presence in the Northeast region of Brazil. The second major acquisition was the purchase of Holcim’s Brazilian cement unit for US$ 1.03 billion.

The deal includes five integrated cement plants, four grinding units, and 19 ready-mix concrete facilities. With these acquisitions, CSN is positioning itself to become the third largest cement producer in Brazil in terms of production capacity.
