The Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE), in partnership with Google, is offering 70 thousand scholarships for free online courses aimed at low-income individuals. The initiative focuses on training young people to enter the technology market, providing education in high-demand areas such as artificial intelligence and UX design.
Program Objective
The program aims to promote social inclusion and increase the presence of low-income individuals in the technology workforce. With a robust education, participants in the free online courses gain better chances of securing good job opportunities.
Available Courses
Participants will have access to seven courses, each issuing certificates recognized by Google and Coursera:

How to Sign Up for Free Courses
To enroll, interested individuals should access the CIEE Portal and fill out the available form. Candidates will be evaluated based on specific criteria, with priority given to those in social vulnerability, women, and members of the LGBT+ community.
Selected individuals will receive a link for enrollment, which must be completed within 10 days. After that, students can take the courses at their own pace, as long as they finish by June 1, 2025.
70 mil vagas e ficam se preocupando se um determinado grupo que é franca minoria em qualquer curso vai conseguir alguma dessas vagas. Se a comunidade lgbt+ ocupasse 10 mil dessas vagas, seria um recorde, e nós ainda temos 60 mil vagas para as outras prioridades (mulheres e vulnerabilidade social) e para todo o resto dos interessados. Mais produtivo fazer a inscrição e se preocupar com a própria vaga, não com as dos outros.
Lixo de segregação… Previlegio para minorias… Como se não tivessem capacidade de concorrer a uma oportunidade. Eu me sentiria ofendido se eu fizesse parte destes grupos… Seria como me chamassem de incapaz e precisasse de favor do governo.
