Attention Residents of the Region, the Quissamã City Hall Will Offer Free Lifeguard and HUET Courses. Registration Starts 07/01!
More qualification! The Quissamã City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, Labor, and Tourism, will offer 100 spots for the professional qualification course in the offshore area for CBSP and HUET. Of the total spots offered, 25% will be reserved for individuals benefited by the municipality’s social programs, upon presentation of the Social Identification Number (NIS); 25% for candidates with one course in the offshore area; and 50% for candidates with two courses in the offshore area.
The Secretary of Economic Development, Labor, and Tourism, Arnaldo Mattoso, highlights that preference will be given to unemployed individuals who currently cannot afford the course. “This is a way to provide greater chances of boarding for the residents. It will be an opportunity to contribute to their insertion in the job market because without these courses, individuals cannot board. So, there are 100 spots opening at a time when the oil industry is beginning to show signs of recovery,” he emphasized.
