Students, teachers, and professionals interested in science and technology can now participate in 32 free courses offered by the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB). The initiative, announced in March 2026, aims to broaden access to knowledge in strategic areas of the Brazilian space sector.

The training is offered online through the educational platform of the AEB School program.

In this way, anyone interested can follow the content online, making it easier for students from different regions of the country to participate.

Registration remains open until May 1, and after classes start, participants have about two months to complete the free courses and receive the certificate.

Free Courses Gather Content on Programming, Meteorology, and Scientific Technologies

The free courses offered by the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) cover essential content from Exact and Earth Sciences, training students and professionals in strategic areas for scientific and technological development.

The training covers everything from programming concepts to natural phenomena, preparing participants for various technological and environmental applications.

Among the available courses are Algorithm Programming in Python and Programming Languages, which present the fundamentals of computational logic and code creation.

For the study of natural processes, there is Introduction to Meteorology and Introduction to Physical Oceanography, while the practical part includes Arduino Mini-Course, Optical Fiber and Geoboard Mini-Course, and Mini-Course on Solar Cells and Electric Circuit.

The aim of these training sessions is to develop technical and strategic skills focused on science, technology, and sustainability, preparing professionals to work in different scientific sectors.

Free Courses Also Explore Astronomy and Aerospace Engineering

Another area covered in the free courses is related to Aerospace Sciences, gathering training that addresses space exploration, astronomy, and technology development for the sector.

Included in the courses are Astronomy Course, Universe Mysteries, and Remote Sensing, which introduce basic concepts about space, astronomical phenomena, and satellite data collection techniques.

For the space industry, the courses include Product Engineering in the Aerospace Sector, Introduction to Nanosatellites, Introduction to Space Propulsion I and II, Rocket Launch Experimentation, and Satellites.

Some of these training programs also offer accessibility resources, such as audio description and sign language translation, ensuring access to a broader audience.

Free Courses Address Law and Space Geopolitics

In addition to technical and scientific areas, AEB’s free courses include content focused on Human and Social Sciences applied to the space sector, addressing historical, legal, and strategic aspects.

Among the available courses are History of the Space Sector, Introductory Course on Aerospace Geopolitics, Basic Course on Space Law, Aerospace Project Management, Security and Defense of Outer Space, and Recent Budgetary Trajectory of the Space Sector.

These training sessions analyze how history, legislation, and geopolitics influence the development of space activities in Brazil and in the international landscape, preparing professionals to understand the strategic dimension of the sector.
