More Than 14 Thousand Places For Free Courses. Registrations Open Until May 9 For Technical Courses And Technical Specializations Of The Etecs
In the Metropolitan Region of SP, the State Technical Schools (Etecs) are offering 14,370 places for free technical courses and technical specializations. The Vestibulinho for these places is open for registrations until May 9 and the registration must be done online, with a fee of R$ 40. According to the Paula Souza Center (CPS), the autarchy responsible for the Etecs, there are no tuition fees for the courses offered.
The Paula Souza Center (CPS), in addition to the Etecs, manages the Technology Colleges (Fatecs) and decentralized classes in approximately 360 municipalities. The Etecs serve more than 226,000 students in Technical, Integrated, and High School courses, while the Fatecs have over 96,000 students in technological undergraduate courses. The institution also offers Continuing Education and Graduate courses, both stricto sensu and lato sensu.

There are 14,000 places in free technical courses in different areas of knowledge. Several cities in the Metropolitan Region, including Arujá, Barueri, Diadema, Guarulhos, Mauá, Osasco, Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, and São Caetano do Sul, in addition to the capital with 9,225 places, are included in the Etecs units.

These places are available for both the technical schools themselves and for decentralized classes, which operate in partnership with municipalities and the São Paulo State Department of Education.
Candidates can choose courses in the in-person, semipresential, or online modality, depending on the availability of each course. For EAD courses, there is no limit on the number of places per hub. Candidate classification occurs based on the total number of places offered.

To participate in the selection process, interested parties must access the website vestibulinhoetec.com.br, fill out the registration form, and pay the fee of R$ 40 by May 9.
