The maritime navigation and logistics company DOF Subsea has signed new charter contracts for its vessels to provide support services in the oil and natural gas sector. The contracts were closed with the state-owned company Petrobras, which will use the ships of the navigation company over the next few months for various services in its fuel exploration and search projects in the country.

The week started highly productively for the navigation company DOF Subsea, as it has just signed three new contracts for vessel charters to provide support services to the oil and gas sector. Petrobras continued its partnership with the international company and closed a deal for the chartering of the vessels Skandi Chieftain, Skandi Olympia, and Skandi Commander, including remotely operated vehicles, aiming to enhance the quality of services in its projects.
Among the three vessels contracted by the Brazilian state-owned company, the Skandi Chieftain and Skandi Olympia from DOF Subsea will only have their contracts extended until the end of the year 2022, thus ensuring the continuity of support services provided to Petrobras’ projects.

DOF Subsea States That the Value of New Support Service Contracts for Petrobras’ Projects Totals US$ 253 Million
DOF Subsea commented on the new contracts with Petrobras and stated that the continuity of business and the new partnerships ahead will be essential for ensuring strong growth in the support services sector for oil and natural gas projects worldwide. This is because the navigation company has been delivering good results to the national oil company and, as a result, has become increasingly relevant in the global vessel charter market.
Additionally, the company also revealed that the total value of the new support service contracts for Petrobras’ projects amounts to US$ 253 million. “I am very excited about these new inspection, maintenance, and repair contracts with Petrobras.
