DOF Opens Job Positions for Various Profiles Amidst the Expansion of Its Activities, Standing Out in Integrated Offshore Services.

On this Wednesday (07/24), DOF is opening job positions for various roles within the company, due to team expansion. DOF provides subsea and marine solutions, focusing on reducing risks, increasing efficiency, and improving safety in offshore projects. What Job Positions Are Available at DOF?

Marine Cook

Requirements set by DOF: Maritime Cook Training, preferably certified by official entities such as SENAC, SENAI, CIR, TBS-I, EBCP, and holding training certificates in Good Practices and Food Safety.

Responsibilities: Prepare and serve food safely and hygienically, ensuring that the kitchen, refrigerators, freezers, storerooms, and dining areas are in proper hygiene conditions.

Will supervise the pantry team, control food stock and expiration dates, and follow personal and food hygiene procedures according to the legislation.

Job Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.

Marine Electrician

Requirements set by DOF: CIR III/7 certification and valid maritime certificates, as well as previous offshore experience and in the ETO role.

Technical knowledge of equipment, materials, and onboard operations is required, and intermediate English is desirable.

Responsibilities: Perform tasks according to the Service Officer’s directions in the Engine Room, ensure proper functioning of devices, electrical installations, and lighting, and be present during vessel maneuvering or emergencies.

The professional must inspect and maintain communication systems, lighting, and electrical and electronic equipment in good condition.

Job Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.

Engine Room Rating

Requirements set by DOF: CIR III/4 certification – MNM and valid TBS and EBCP certifications. Proven experience in the role, preferably in AHTS, RSV, or similar operations, is essential.

Intermediate English is desirable and will be tested during the selection process.

Responsibilities: Execute tasks according to the Service Officer’s guidance in the Engine Room.

Your activities include assisting during room service, lubricating, maintaining, and cleaning equipment, sounding tanks, and checking the operating conditions of equipment external to the Engine Room.

Job Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.

Crane Operator

Requirements set by DOF: Completed High School and holding a current level III Sparrows certification.

The candidate must have proven offshore experience and in the role, with experience in Knuckle Boom, NOV, or Huisman cranes. Intermediate to advanced English and valid embarkation courses are desirable.

Responsibilities: Operate all cranes on board the vessel and perform maintenance on these equipment according to the TM Master and the demands of the engine department heads.

Additionally, must maintain the vessel’s lifting equipment, report technical issues to the chief engineer, and perform night watch while in port.

Job Location: Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.

Electrical Technician (Onshore)

Requirements set by DOF: Technical Course in Electronics/Electricity or a degree in Electrical Engineering. The candidate must have experience in the area, either working as a mariner, at the equipment manufacturer, or in oil and gas sectors.

Advanced English and basic knowledge of project fundamentals and cost management are desirable.

Responsibilities: Focus on preventive, predictive, and proactive maintenance of hydraulic and electrical equipment.

Your tasks include managing failure analysis, maintaining technical communication with manufacturers and the internal company, issuing detailed reports, and providing technical support in vendor qualification.

Job Location: Rio de Janeiro.

Offshore Operations Analyst

Requirements set by DOF: Bachelor’s degree completed in Engineering, Oceanography, or completed technical education. The candidate must have experience with Kongsberg’s APOS Software, LBL, hydroacoustic operation performed by Kongsberg software, Navipac, and Microstation.

Experience in similar roles on RSV or PLSV vessels and intermediate English is desirable.

Responsibilities: Coordinate the operational team and resources to execute tasks according to client demands, ensuring that operations on board are conducted safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include aligning with DOF Subsea and DOF Subsea Brasil procedures, making assertive decisions, ensuring the safety of personnel and property, planning and maintaining effective communication with the team, and ensuring effective informational material for each shift.

Job Location: Rio de Janeiro.

Crew Assistant

Requirements set by DOF: Currently pursuing or having completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Petroleum Engineering, Administration, or related fields.

The candidate must have intermediate to advanced English and knowledge of Office suite tools. Previous experience in the industry, personnel management, or logistics, or related activities is essential.

Responsibilities: Manage and optimize processes related to personnel, from recruitment and selection to benefits administration and payroll. Your responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data for strategic decision-making.
