Technical Course in Agroindustry: What to Expect?
The Technical Course in Agroindustry aims to train professionals capable of acting in various areas of the agroindustrial sector, preparing them to face the increasingly demanding and dynamic market requirements.
Over the course of 18 months, the student will develop a solid knowledge base, which includes everything from the simplest practices to the most advanced ones in agroindustry.
The flexibility of the EAD mode allows students to attend 80% of the classes online, from anywhere, with full support from teachers and tutors.
The in-person workload represents only 20% of the total, being necessary for practical activities that complement the theoretical training, providing a more complete learning experience.
The course will cover essential topics such as the industrialization process of agricultural products, food safety, quality control, sustainability in production, and much more.
With an updated pedagogical structure focused on the needs of the sector, students will be ready to enter the market with recognized qualifications.
Available Spots and Quotas
The selection process offers 35 spots, with 50% of these spots reserved for candidates from public schools and people with disabilities, as established by Law 12.711/2012.
The remaining spots are for general competition, i.e., candidates who do not meet the quota criteria.
Additionally, foreigners can also apply, provided they present documents of equivalency of studies and officially translated records.
This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a technical education with real chances of entering the job market, especially in a sector of great importance like agroindustry.
Classification Criteria
The selection of candidates will be based on the score obtained in the objective test.
In the event of a tie, the following classification criteria will apply:
- Highest score in Portuguese Language section.

With this, IFRR ensures that the selection process is fair and transparent, prioritizing both academic performance and life experience of the candidates.
