The University of São Paulo (USP) has published an announcement for a new public tender with 63 open positions for the role of Analyst for Administrative Matters. Candidates with higher education will have starting salaries of R$ 9,257.99. Interested individuals must only hold a degree in any field, have intermediate knowledge of a Foreign Language, and computer skills.

This professional is responsible for gathering information, relevant legislation, data, studies, and specific analyses of the sectors in which they operate to expand organizational effectiveness, within regulations, legal limits, and the University’s internal policies. They also prepare and revise technical texts, maintain the flow of information with other related areas to ensure the normal execution of work routines within the legal provisions and internal rules, and develop audits of the procedures performed, verifying compliance with legal standards and internal regulations.
The Analyst for Administrative Matters also prepares and issues bulletins, reports, and opinions on various subjects within the areas of operation. They are responsible for being knowledgeable and updated regarding the legislation pertinent to their area of expertise, guiding the work of technical administrative staff in their area, and may manage work teams in various activities across the fields.

Applications for the USP Tender Will Start on March 31
Applications for the public tender must be made between March and April of this year through the Fuvest website, which is responsible for conducting the entrance exams and tenders of USP. To validate their application, interested parties must pay an application fee of R$ 159.
According to the announcement, 63 positions for the Analyst for Administrative Matters will be offered, distributed among the municipalities of São Paulo, Bauru, Piracicaba, Lorena, Ribeirão Preto, Pirassununga, and São Carlos.
Candidates for the USP public tender will be evaluated through objective and written tests, which will be administered on May 7 of this year in the cities mentioned above.
The objective test will consist of 70 multiple-choice questions, each with 5 alternatives and only one correct answer, covering the subjects of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, English Language, Legal Knowledge and USP Regulations, Specific Management Topics, General Knowledge, and Current Events. Conversely, the written test will require the development of an essay based on a theme proposed by the committee.
