The Preparatory School for Air Cadets (EPCAR) has launched the announcement for the 2025 contest, offering 130 vacancies for the training of Air Force cadets. This contest is an excellent opportunity for young people of both genders who wish to enter a promising military career.

The Preparatory School for Air Cadets (EPCAR) is an educational institution of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). Its main objective is to prepare young people to enter the Air Force Academy (AFA) as cadets.

EPCAR offers a training course focused on military, scientific, and sports disciplines, as well as ethical and moral values. Students who successfully complete EPCAR have the chance to continue their studies at AFA and eventually become officers of the FAB.

The training course, conducted in a boarding format, comprises three years equivalent to the official high school education recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) and includes instruction in both scientific and military fields. Classified by the National High School Examination (Enem) as the fourth best public school in Brazil, the institution offers between 130 and 180 vacancies annually, attracting an average of 13 thousand candidates per contest.

Schedule and Requirements: Prepare for the EPCAR 2025 Contest

Enrollment for the contest of EPCAR 2025 will open from March 5 and will close on the 25th of the same month. Candidates must have completed elementary education and meet specific requirements regarding age and marital status.

It is essential to be within the age range of 14 to 19 years old by December 31 of the enrollment year, as well as being single and without children or dependents.

Stages of the Contest: Objective Test and Complementary Assessments

The selection process for the EPCAR 2025 contest includes several stages, starting with the objective test scheduled for June 23. Candidates will be assessed in subjects such as Portuguese Language, Mathematics, English Language, and Essay Writing.

In addition to the written test, the process includes stages such as Health Inspection, Psychological Aptitude Exam, Physical Conditioning Assessment Test, Complementary Heteroidentification Procedure, and document validation.
