The Internship Positions Available by Editora Globo for Rio de Janeiro and Brasília Are for the Graphic Arts Areas

Editora Globo, a printed and digital publishing company, is accepting applications for the 2021 internship. The program is intended for the newspapers O Globo and Extra, and the magazine Época. The internship is in the graphic arts area and is open to students from social communication courses – journalism, graphic design – digital, and industrial design. Selected candidates will work in Rio de Janeiro or Brasília.

William Helal Filho, coordinator of Integrated Reporting training, says, “Our internship program aims for an exchange of experiences. While we offer students the opportunity to experience journalism practice in different areas of the newsroom, we hope that selected individuals bring their own perspectives and questions to the company. We want to teach what we know, but we seek renewal, diversity of thought. The idea is to establish a reciprocal relationship with the new generations, in search of collective knowledge.”

To apply, one must be 18 years or older at the time of application and expect to graduate from college in December 2021. Applications will be accepted until November 15. Selected candidates will start their internship on January 4, 2021.
