Both The UPGN And The Gas Pipeline Are Scheduled To Be Completed In 2021, Although There Are Predictions That They Will Be Finished As Early As 2020, When They Will Reach A Peak Of 7,500 Workers.

The Region Of Itaboraí And Nearby Municipalities Have Been Hard Hit In Recent Years By The Halt Of Comperj’s Works Since 2014, When Contracts Were Involved In The Corruption Scheme Revealed By Operation Lava Jato.

Petrobras Explained That The New Hires Are The Responsibility Of The Companies In Charge Of The Construction And Assembly Of The Project.
