The Fiat electric car is expected to arrive at a higher price, given that its price in Europe is € 31,400, translating to around R$ 210,000 at the current exchange rate. Features of the Fiat Electric Car in Partnership with Enel X
Capable of reaching the mark of 0 to 100km/h in just 9 seconds, the 500e Icon is an electric model with a front motor of 116 horsepower. The electric car’s battery pack is 42 kWh, capable of providing a range of 322 km under the WLTP standard, which is responsible for defining a new testing cycle and procedures.
Moreover, the Fiat 500e Icon can recover 80% of its full charge in just 35 minutes, that is, approximately 50 km of range in 5 minutes of charging. Inside, the vehicle features a 10.25-inch multimedia screen, which supports apps like Google Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

Growth of Electric Vehicles in Brazil
Last year, 2020, the growth in sales of electric and hybrid cars in the country hit a new record of 66.5%, compared to 2019. In that year, registrations of these vehicles had an uptick to 11,858, while last year this number rose to 19,745 in total. Just in December 2020, 1,949 electric and hybrid vehicles were sold in Brazil.
The data were provided by the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association (ABVE), which stated that 2020 was the best year for electric car sales since the series began in 2012.
