Multinational Continues to Expand Its Business Portfolio in Brazil with the Renewal of Maintenance Services Contract at Brasympe’s Termocabo Plant
The national energy market is increasingly growing, and Wärtsilä’s maintenance services in energy transmission will be essential for a more efficient resource future. This is because the Ten-Year Energy Expansion Plan (PDE 2031) indicates the need for 14 GW of capacity to be installed by 2031, and the company has already delivered 2.7 GW of installed capacity in Brazil, of which 739 MW are currently covered by long-term service contracts.
The company operates with maintenance services and supplies naval equipment for builders, shipowners, and offshore vessel operators and installations, seeking a new perspective for future growth in the Brazilian energy sector.
Thus, Jorge Alcaide, director of the energy business in the Southern Americas region of Wärtsilä, emphasized that it is very rewarding for the company that Brasympe has renewed the contract and trusts in the responsibility of its maintenance services for the Termocabo Plant.
Now, Wärtsilä and Brasympe will continue to work together to make the energy transmission and supply chain at the Termocabo Plant increasingly efficient over the coming years, during which the partnership may develop new growth paths in the national market for both companies.
