Chinese Company Launches New Rectangular Solar Panels That Promise To Be The Future Of The Market. The Company Had Already Received Awards For Its Borderless Solar Cells Previously.

The Chinese DAH Solar recently launched its new solar panels with rectangular cells, which can generate more energy than conventional models with square cells in Brazil. The panels, from the DHN-72R18 line, feature TOPCon N-Type technology, +600W of power, and solar cells measuring 182mm x 192mm.

New Rectangular Solar Panels Achieve Efficiency Of 26.5%

According to the company, being lighter and more compact, the equipment promotes space savings and more power per square meter than conventional models. According to Leonardo Rodrigues, LATAM technical manager at DAH Solar, a 630W module with square solar cells requires an area of 2.80 m² and has an efficiency of approximately 22.54% for energy generation.

Meanwhile, a rectangular cell panel occupies an area of 2.70 m² and shows 23.30% efficiency, according to Leonardo. In fact, tests conducted by the company with the new solar panels reveal that the TOPCon N-type cells can reach an efficiency of 26.5%.

DAH Solar Receives Innovative Product Of The Year Award

In addition to these newly launched solar panels, DAH Solar won the Outstanding Product Innovative Of The Year award during The Solar Week Malaysia Leadership 2023, due to the TOPCon full-screen technology.

According to the company, the product caught the market’s attention since its debut during SNEC 2023, held in Shanghai, China. The company also highlighted that on August 21, it was listed as Tier 1 due to its technological innovation, stable financial situation, and deep industrial integration layout.

This result is also recognized by professional research institutes and global markets regarding the strengthening of technological innovation and the influence of the DAH Solar brand. The manufacturer emphasizes that it establishes a close partnership with InverPower in Malaysia.

During a meeting with Daniel Koh, director of Sales at InverPower, he commented on DAH’s patented full-screen panel as the most successful innovation in module technology.

Founded in 2009, DAH Solar is a Chinese giant specialized in the development of technology and manufacturing of solar panels and cells, and also in the construction and operation of power stations.

Its factory located in Hefei has a production capacity of 5GW per year in modules and 5.5 GW in photovoltaic cells, all with national and international certifications such as CQC, Leader, ISSO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 180001, TUV, CEC, CE, Inmetro, and FIDE.

The company is located in over 100 countries and has been in the Brazilian market since 2017. It is worth mentioning that, here, the company is among the ten most recognized in the market, holding the ninth position in the ranking.
