There will be many activities and, alongside them, there is also a demand for transportation, food, uniforms, and materials. It’s not a huge amount, but it’s concentrated over two months”, says Durval.
According to him, by the end of the year, the resumption should create 1000 new jobs. The goal is to prepare the Fourth Plant of the mining company, which will receive iron ore pellets by the end of this year.
In a meeting organized by Findes, on Friday, the 24th, representatives of the mining company presented the plan for the resumption of the four plant for the second half of this year.
Although the plant is the most modern and recent, a major maintenance action will be necessary for it to resume operations, as it has been idle for nearly 5 years. This will cost the mining company around R$ 80 million in investments during the months of May and June.
