Equinox Mining Wants to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Has Asked Enel for Help

Enel Green Power Brazil, a subsidiary of Enel, announced this week that it has supplied wind energy to Equinox Gold. The renewable energy company has signed a power supply contract with the mining company, which operates worldwide, to provide 17 GWh per year of renewable energy.

The contract stipulates that the energy will be generated from the Fontes dos Ventos II wind farm, located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.
