The Event Will Take Place From August 14 to 16, Government and Private Sectors Discuss the New Directions of Wind Energy in Brazil
Wind energy is the theme of the 11th edition of the Wind Forum from August 14 to 16, which will take place in the municipality of Natal, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. It is estimated that the event will gather around a thousand people, the average attendance from previous editions. At the same location, a kind of “pact” was signed, called the “Letter of the Winds,” which aims to boost this type of energy in partnership with public and private sectors.
Experts from the renewable energy sector, government, suppliers, and leaders from the transmission/generation branch have also confirmed their presence at the forum in Natal.
The organizers stated that this year’s edition aims to primarily discuss the Brazilian energy market, which includes structuring, new projections for capital investment, socio-environmental management, including projects and opportunities in the offshore wind energy sector. Let’s take SBM as an example, which also wants to enter strongly in this segment in national territory.
